Hey y’all! I’m Ashley.
I’m a Florida native (Tallahassee) who has fallen in love with the Atlanta area since moving here in 2015.
I’m a sleep-deprived, over-caffeinated former teacher turned reluctantly-homeschooling stay-at-home mom who loves the mountains and college football. (Go, Seminoles!)
In the spring of my sophomore year at Florida State, we had just finished praise and worship when I looked across the crowded room and saw this crazy guy doing the worm on the floor. As you do.
I leaned over to my roommate and whispered, “I love him. I’m going to marry him and have his babies.”
16 years and three kids later, we are daily learning to enjoy the journey as we navigate this crazy life together. He is a pediatric intensive care nurse who goes about saving the world while I struggle to keep up with the laundry.
I’m trying to adult responsibly but feel like I’m mostly flying by the seat of my pants when it comes to raising these three kiddos (ages 10, 7, and 1). I’m getting daily on-the-job training in autism, lego building, tutu making, and toilet cleaning.
Before moving to Atlanta, I was a MOPS coordinator and I’m passionate about connecting mamas and building community.
These days, I’m slowly learning how to drive in Atlanta traffic. I’m surviving on coffee, 90s music, and a whole lot of Jesus.
